Epoxy resin
Daicel’s cycloaliphatic epoxides are synthesized by the epoxidation reaction of peracetic acid.
Unlike Bisphenol A glycidyl ether epoxy, our cycloaliphatic epoxides do not contain chloride.
Additionally, since our resins are aliphatic, they have excellent UV stability and a low propensity to yellow at high temperatures.
Daicel’s oxidation technology
Daicel has developed various chemical compounds, including aliphatic epoxy resins, using oxidation reaction technology with peracetic acid.

Characteristics of Daicel’s products
- No chlorine content
- High heat resistance (high Tg)
- High cationic reactivity compared to glycidyl ether
- Low viscosity and high fluidity
