Product Profiles

Product Features
- Optimized for administration in small animals (mice, rats, etc.) with compatibility to medium animals
- Intradermal, sub-cutaneous, and intramuscular administration
- Minimally-invasive injections without needles
- Achieves transfection without formulation, LNPs, or carriers
- Ideal for antibody generation, gene expression, and vaccine research

Actranza® lab. as a Drug Delivery System
When the jet stream is released, it could generate shear stress within cells, which may enhance cell membrane permeability or promoting endocytosis.
As a result, DNA or mRNA could be delivered directly into cells without the need for carriers such as lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) or viral vectors.
Applications

Drug Distribution
The liquid disperses over a wide area in intradermal tissue (India ink).

Efficient Delivery of Plasmid DNA into Cells
This shows that the fluorescently labeled (Cy™3) plasmid DNA is efficiently taken up into the cells nucleus (pink fluorescent granules indicate the introduction of plasmid DNA into the cell nucleus).
※Cy™ is a trademark of Cytiva.
GFP gene expression
Expression of the gene encoding Green Fluorescence Proteins (GFP) by injection.

LacZ gene expression
Expression of the gene encoding β-galactosidase by injection of plasmid DNA (blue areas are expression sites).
