Daicel Chiral Technologies (India) Pvt. Ltd. (Head office: Hyderabad, Telangana, India, President: Lakshmi Narayana, hereinafter: “DCTI”), a subsidiary of Daicel Corporation (Head office: Kita-ku, Osaka, President& CEO: Misao Fudaba, hereinafter: “Daicel”), has completed its new building “DCTI Knowledge Centre” and commencing operations in May 2019.

Established in 2008, DCTI belongs to Daicel’s CPI Company and is responsible for the chiral business in India. DCTI’s operations include sales of chiral columns and offers technical service for chiral columns, custom contract separation service, GMP* Analytical service, and Pharma standards. DCTI’s facilities used to be spread out within the IKP Knowledge Park, a science park in Hyderabad. Additionally, capacity limitations of facilities emerged as the business grew.

The newly-established DCTI Knowledge Centre has integrated the functions of formerly dispersed facilities and now provides facilities that enable DCTI to offer comprehensive service to customers as well as operate more effectively and safely. The Centre is spread over 4.600 m2 within a three- story building, which is able to accommodate about 200 scientists. Furthermore, the facility will significantly contribute to an eco-friendly R&D environment.

With the establishment of the DCTI Knowledge Centre, DCTI will deliver its products and services in a more efficient manner, expand its current business, and explore new business fields.
