Daicel Medical Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Noriaki Ito), a Daicel Group company, announced PMDA Approval for its Gas-powered Needle-free Injector, “Daicel Injector P1 SC“ in Japan on October 29, 2025.
This product utilizes our proprietary technology, developed through the manufacturing of gas generators (inflators) for automotive airbags, to deliver pharmaceuticals or vaccines subcutaneously without the use of needles by ejecting them at high pressure.
With this approval, Daicel Medical, as the marketing approval holder, is preparing for the launch of the product. Details regarding the product specifications and release date will be announced at a later time.
