Product Uses

Displays

Cellulose acetate for LCD optical films (TAC)

When cellulose acetate is formed into a film, it exhibits almost no optical anisotropy, meaning it appears the same from any viewing direction. In addition, due to its high transparency and excellent flatness, it is used as a raw material for protective films for liquid crystal displays.

Cycloaliphatic epoxies

An epoxy compound with excellent transparency, adhesion, and durability, and used as an interlayer material for liquid crystal displays.

Resistpolymers for FPD

A polymer made using our proprietary monomers, offering excellent transparency, heat resistance, and curability, and used in the manufacturing process of color filters.

Printers

Polyoxymethylene(POM) Open in a new window

A resin that offers a well-balanced combination of self-lubricating properties (maintaining smoothness without the need for lubricants and reducing friction) and oil resistance, and used in printer drive units.

Alloyed engineering plastics Open in a new window

Alloyed engineering plastics are materials created by blending engineering plastics with general-purpose resins to combine the advantages of each. Use in printer bodies offers excellent heat resistance and dimensional stability. It also possesses flame-retardant properties, helping to prevent the spread of fire in the event of an emergency.

Solvents for electronic materials

Our solvents have high-purity, high-quality and a high-boiling point and are used in advanced semiconductor manufacturing and liquid crystal panel production. Our product is manufactured in-house from raw materials, offering excellent quality stability.

Resistpolymers for Semiconductors

A polymer used for photoresists in semiconductor manufacturing processes. Since we design the monomers (raw materials) and synthesize the polymer in-house, we are able to maintain stable production and quality control.

Liquid crystal polymer (LCP) Open in a new window

LCP is a super engineering plastic that enables thin-wall molding with high flowability (allowing the molten resin to flow easily) and offers excellent heat resistance. In addition, its strength increases as the material becomes thinner, and it has a low coefficient of linear thermal expansion close to that of metal (showing minimal expansion or contraction with temperature changes), making it suitable for use in ultra-compact precision connectors.

Low sparkling AG films

A display film that suppresses light reflection and glare on the display surface, offers high resistance to friction, and features an anti-fouling coating that helps reduce fingerprint marks.
